All Oral Abstract Presenters are required to prepare PowerPoint Slides for their Oral Presentation (5min) at the LALCA 2010 Conference. Submission of your slides prior to the Conference is strongly recommended to ensure compatibility with the Conference equipment.
Please email your slides to lalca2010@icsevents.com NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, 23 JULY 2010.
Note: Changes and/or a revised version may be submitted at the Conference to the Speaker Ready Room (Gomez Losada) located on the second floor of the Sheraton Hotel.
Poster Discussion Presentation
As a Poster (Discussion) Presenter you will be asked to prepare a Poster that will be displayed on Friday, 30 July 2010 in Room Catalinas from 9:00 to 18:00. You will be asked to stand by your poster during the Lunch Break from 13:00 – 15:00 to answer questions from delegates.
In addition your Poster will be highlighted in a Poster Discussion Session, scheduled for Friday, 30 July 2010 from 08:30 – 09:15 in Room Libertador C, first floor at the Sheraton Hotel. A leading expert will discuss your poster along with other posters of the same topic. His discussion will be followed by a question and answer period in which you are asked to participate.

Lung Cancer is pleased to invite the submission of Scientific Abstracts.
| SUBMISSION GUIDELINES |
- All abstracts should be submitted electronically, click here to get access to the LALCA Online Abstract Submission Website
- Abstracts will be accepted in English only
- Abstracts should not exceed 500 words in length
- Graphics, photos, tables may be included and each will count as 75 words
- There is no fee for submitting an abstract
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit

Presenting authors of accepted abstracts are required to register for the Conference
by 25 June 2010 and are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Please
take advantage of the Early Registration Fee by submitting your registration on or
before 28 May 2010.

| SCHOLARSHIPS |
The Scientific Committee for the 4th Latin American Lung Cancer Conference is
pleased to offer Travel Awards to Young Investigators. These awards will consist of
complimentary registration to the Conference, up to 3 night’s accommodation, a fixed
amount to cover travel expenses and free membership in IASLC for one year.
Candidates must:
- Be 35 years of age or younger
- Submit an abstract to the 4th Latin American Conference on Lung Cancer before the Abstract Submission Deadline 19 March 2010
- Be the presenting author for the submitted abstract
- Work must not have been presented or published prior to the 4th Latin American Conference
- Submit the following items to support their application
- Proof of age
- Supporting Letter from their supervisor or institution
- Curriculum Vitae
Application support materials must be emailed to lalca2010@icsevents.com on or before 19 March 2010 (Abstract Submission Deadline). Applications and materials received after 19 March 2010 cannot be considered.
The Scientific Committee will select award winners based on the scientific content of the abstract. Winners will be notified at the end of May 2010. Awards will be given out on-site following your presentation at the Conference.
